he played 3 min. tonite, made 1 free throw and made 1 foul, but memphis won

3 games left; 2 with hornets and blazers which if they win they can possibly move to 7th place to play lakers, otherwise they'll be playing spurs

Their best chance is tank and take Spurs. It would mean less minutes for Hamed but if they manage an upset, he would get tons of minutes against OKC or Nuggz.

Hamed was doing awesome most of the game. He needs to hustle some more though. I miss the intensity of Hamed in Olympics.

Very good, he played 19 minutes, hopefully he'll get some minutes in the playoffs...

if hamed played with more intensity he would easily be able to be a starting center on many teams.i think thats a major factor why he doesnt get that many minuets. im not trying to take away anything from him, hes been playing well but he can be so much better. he desrves more than the 2 minuets he usually gets

Looking at the standings, Memphis is only 1 game behind the 6 seed trailblazers...Memphis could very well take the 6 seed if the blazers and hornets lose.

True. But I think he needs more minutes for a number of games in a row. Practice isn't enough. He needs to actually get into games more.

shit theres actually a chance that they might play okc now which is my favorite team (James Harden is my life btw in case you didnt know...ASU fool), but thanks to Nazr Mohammed that should mean PT for Hamed. Only problem is Nazr is secretley really good lol. Both him and Ibaka can drill that 10-12 ft jumper, which hamed sometimes doesnt do that great a job on defending. Much better against post moves. (ibakas a future all star btw)

                      side note:
I never had my doubts on the perk trade from a basketball standpoint but i was never a fan of him personally...that kobe altercation last night changed everything tho...get it homie

another side note: Western conference playoffs in 5 years:

                      1) OKC (Russ, Harden, KD, Serg, Aldrich)
                      2) Clippers (Blake, E Gordon, E Bledsoe, Jordan)
                      3) Nuggets (DANILOOOO my man)
                      4) Golden State (If they are smart and trade one of those guards for whatever they are worth, which is a lot)
                      5) Minnesota (K Love, WESLEY JOHNSON (hes good), beasley, rubio??)
                      6) Memphis(Great core but not higher cause tony allen and zach wont be here)
                      7) Sacramento (Tyreke, Cousins, Thompson)
                      8) Portland (Lamarcus)

I feel (or hope, really) that in the coming decade OKC-Chicago turns into Lakers-Celtics...and if westbrook learns how to play point guard LOOK OUT

                          agreed 100%.

he is one of the most underrated players in the nba in my opinion along with luoul deng and a couple others.

i miss him playing as a knick :/
