No, its not. I had read reports earlier that they were going to send the B team considering Arsalan Kazemi and Haddadi couldn't be there.

Lets continue haddadi talks here instead of the assault thread

so after a few months of being inactive, finally he got 2min. of playing time last night, scored 2 points

in other news, yao ming looks like he might have to quit due to injuries, so houston rockets only have one other center, these are all potentials for haddadi next year, he needs a real agent and not some party promoter, i believe part of the reason he's messed up is that, he needs a pro

greg oden, yao just can't get a break man... why is it that guys with a lot of talent just go down with injuries so much. or guys that have a break through year and the following year when they get that big contract they start getting injured left and right.

they way it sounds like i think Yao is going to retire. i doubt he will be back and i dont think anyone would want to gamble and sign him to their team so he can sit on the bench with his suit

that would be awesome to see him with rockets and even better get the starting job

time is just ticking away... he's just wasting his time in Memphis.

Houston would be perfect right now or even Clippers since they got the creeper aka. chris kaman out for now

                      who's his agent? (just curious)

thats the problem, he doesnt have a real basketball agent...his agent is mayar zokai, son of the guy who owns javanan magazine i think, this guys is like a party promoter, throws persian parties, organizes xmas vegas stuff, he keeps taking him to parties and organized persian heritage nights drawing poor iranians to stadiums hoping to see hamed but he's inactive or he's not playing...overall this has lead to hamed getting into this mess with the girl and i dont think this guy can be taken seriously by nba teams cuz he's not a real agent, he needs to know how to talk the talk...

overall i think this will be his last season in memphis, he will either pick up a team in nba or he'll go to europe

His agent is Eric Fleisher whose represented some pretty big name guys such as Kevin Garnett. Mayar is just an advisor/translator/friend.

oh nice find, thanx for clearing that up. There were a number of reasons i thought mayar was the agent, cuz he's always with him and i know many people that know both hamed and him personally and they were saying he was his agent. But im glad he has a real agent.

i have a question for you regarding d-league, if lets say after this year hamed was not able to find an nba team to go to...would he be able to sign with a d-league team? or is d-league stricly for rookies and sophmores? or maybe he has to be part of a team to play in the d-league?
im wondering if he can go to d-league as a last option, maybe thats another way for him to work his way up in another team next year.

I think the rookie/sophomore rule only applies to NBA teams being able to demote their guys back to the D-League. So, if you're a 3rd year NBA player and you're sitting on the bench, they can't send you to the D-League no matter what.

But there are some former NBA players in the D-League right now trying to get another shot again. The most recent example is former All-Star Antoine Walker who just recently started playing there again in the hopes of signing with an NBA team again this year.

As far as Hamed, I don't think theres any way he would play in the D-League. If hes not signed by an NBA team, he's probably heading for the biggest contract he can get, whether its Europe/Iran/China or wherever.
