im wondering if he can go to d-league as a last option, maybe thats another way for him to work his way up in another team next year.
He could sign with a D-League team after this season. Antonio Daniels (a 12 year NBA pro) is currently in the D-League.

It would be stupid on Hamed's part though, to go to the D-League. He should try and look for a deal in Europe if no one picked him up.

His contract expires after this season, and I highly highly doubt Memphis tries to get him back. His best chance is to sign a 1 year deal for less money with a team that can give him an opportunity to play and showcase his skills.

He played 5 min. tonight against jazz, 2 points, 1 reb, 1 assist, 1 foul
thabeet, 8 min, 0 points, 4 rebs, 3 fouls...lol....he almost cost them the game in the 4th quarter, he is by far the worst nba player, even if u dont watch the game, look at some highlights and see how lame and weak he is, u think ur watching some 12 yr old amongst some pros, its a shame haddadi has to take a back seat to this joke in his prime years, grizzlies fans know haddadi is better

he played 1 min. last night, 1 reb 1 steal

btw, some kid posted this vid of him against lakers last year....look at what he did in like 2 min. of playing time...on both ends he was effective, i missed this game, i cant believe some jokes say he doesnt deserve to be in NBA, he might not be a superstar but he can surely play 10-15min for at least half the NBA teams playing like that

He should go to Suns! Grizzlies should trade Mayo and Haddadi for Nash

being in hamed's shoes must be very damaging to your confidence, thabeet is completely worthless, he adds nothing to the team and when he's on the floor its like 4 people playing...all the grizzlies fans agree that hamed needs to play over thabeet

i really really hope he stays in NBA and someone picks him up... he might not be a super star but he is very talented.. when i see Asik is getting his minutes and the guy is slowly but surly learning and getting better, i wonder how is sitting on the bench suppose to make hamed any better? these turkish guys are getting their chance to play and in the other hand hamed nothing. could it be because he is from Iran??

i think it does and not in a racist way but because nba analysts or americans in general love to relate things to history, iran doesnt have a basketball history, they compare thabeet to mutombo and olajuwon simply because he's african when in no way in hell does his game or talent resembles theirs. Same way they make it a big deal for kids coming out of college rather than those overseas...just cuz thabeet is from UCONN a well known school with history they consider him an asset when i was never impressed by him when he was in college.

I wonder what Hamed will do at the end of the season after his contract is up? Clearly Memphis is NOT where he needs to be...
