Haddadi can become a very efficient player, and it stinks that in a league with such crap centers hes getting no playing time..im sure a team like golden state or houston could use him
No way he fits into GSW. Though I'd love him here, he's far too slow and unathletic to keep up with the explosive run & gun offense we have.

Houston on the other hand seems like a good place, especially if Yao decides to leave (which I believe he said he wants to re-sign).

There's so many bad teams out there right now that are in desperate need of a center. If I were Hamed, I would definitely sign with a bad team that would provide an opportunity. I would then work my ass off in practice and produce on the court.

The last thing Hamed needs is to go to a good team and rot on the bench.

Yea I dont think he would fit in with the Warrior's no D game plan. Thats why they got David Lee
On another note team like Knicks would fit him really well. They are already payin Amare and Melo tons of money so a cheap 7 footer is always welcome. Additionally his addition could mean the Knicks wont have to play Amare out of position thus taking the best out of their star. On the other hand Dantoni is a ****n moron with shit for brains which could mean the same situation as in Memphis but I have a feeling that guy is a goner.

if he can shine in the limited time he might get in the playoffs, it could raise his stock bigtime.

I saw Hamed's agent this weekend, and he told me he was almost traded to the Knicks at the deadline. But Memphis decided they needed to keep him after trading Thabeet away in a separate deal.

he played couple of min. last night against spurs, grabbed 2 rebounds and made 2 free throws, thats about it.

grizzlies are on fire!!!! they beat the best team in the league and are about 3 games ahead of rockets for 8th playoff spot....they play hornets next which if they win that i believe they move to 7th

i'd love to see him against lakers in playoffs, at least we'll know he'll get playing time cuz they have big men

I think he means Mayar Zokaei which is his advisor.

Hamed wouldn't have gotten time if he went to NYK anyway IMO - regardless of their desperate need of a center. Dumbtoni isn't a fan of young bigs and the playing time he gives is sporadic. It would have just broke Hamed's confidence being on another team and still getting no PT.

Yeah, remember when he benched Nate Robinson for 20 games or so and the next game that he put him in, Robinson got 40 points.

Yes, it was Mayar. But apparently he is no longer just his advisor and is in fact the agent responsible for his contracts as well. He just visited Arsalan at Rice and it looks like he will represent him as well if he makes the NBA jump.

Anyways, Hamed almost got traded to NY straight up for Roger Mason. He said the NY scouts are strong and have done their homework on the international scene, so they are fully aware of Hamed's game and potential despite his limited minutes in the NBA. Also, we can probably expect him to sign a contract in the 3 years for 10-12 million range this summer after his recent play.

so the chances of him re-signing with memphis is pretty high?
