Hamed Haddadi - NBA 2010/2011 Season [Official Thread]

We should consider the fact that last night, Spurs focused on putting more defense in the paint, as this has been the area in where Grizzlies has been the most dangerous all season long. Popovich probably wanted his team to force Grizzlies making more outside shots, which has been the weakness of this team.
Thus, it wasn't an easy task for Haddadi to come in and get some stats. He was being guarded well by the big men in Spurs - just like Randolph and Gasol was yesterday. Just look at the numbers they put up yesterday and compare them to the previous three games in these series.

"Who's your Haddadi?"
Originally posted by Behzad12 View PostI know it may not mean a whole lot, but the reality was that last night in the last 4-5 minutes that Hamed played, I believe there as around 8-10 points scored in the paint off of haddadi's defense.
Regardless of it being a blowout or not, that never looks good in front of a coach.
there were 3 baskets in the paint, 1 i remember haddadi was not there cuz his man was somewhere else, the other was last second of the game when the grizz were in the other half and san antonio sent an allyup....so its not all as bad as it looks, he did ok for his time there, didnt really make too many mistakes except the first 3 fouls of the half
