This article was interesting for me, because Bayern management has done this kind of shock therapy over the years to its best coaches, and Van Gaal is no exception, even though they got the double and almost the treble last year. Magath won two doubles in a row, but he still got sacked.
In this case, Bayern management seems to have taken control, and openly made his incorrect decisions public.
As far as Lucio, there is no way they could have kept him. He was being pursued for years, and it was a surprise that he stayed for as long as he did.Comment
