casilas makes alot of mistakes that makes him look like a rookie goalie.. but then sometimes he is amazing.. one thing about buffon is he never makes big mistakes like how casilas makes.. buffon is the better goalie, when he was in his prime

I don't agree with that..! I think his general consistency, poise and Overall tendency not to give up tokhmy goals often, is the primary reason why he has been the Undisputed First Choice keeper @ real. In a club which the best players in the world often end up Riding the Pine, because of their inability to perform to their max potential, on a consistent basis.
St. Iker, locked the starting position at a very young age & has been rock solid for Years now @ Real..! Its very difficult task for any player to get past him in goal..! The only times ive witnessed him give up a tokhmy goal is when defense totally collapse around him and he is put in impossible situations even then more often than not he pulls off a miraclous save to keep his team in the game.
I think by the time these keepers all hang their boots, there will be no question in anyone's mind ( well except may
be Haji Yashar's..!? ) that Iker was the superior keeper..! His Youth & solid CONSISTENT game doesn't give u any reasons to believe otherwise..!

Inzaghi has great movement inside the box, he just has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. His goals are not 'fluke', It's strikers instincts.

i say casillas is not as good as some of the other GKs i mentioned.
if u and siamak believe a gk shouldnt be judged by one game, then i guess this one game shouldnt be a game to judge the 2 GKs either, specially if the comparison is not even direct but rather penalty savings only.
if penalty savings was to measure GK abilities, then talebloo & ricardo should be better than both casillas and buffon.

interestingly, GKs are very much judged on corner kicks, except that they are judged on their exits on corner kicks which btw, casillas is at a very average level when it comes to crosses

but ofcourse, real madrid fans like urself and bachelot dont have the eyes to see that even though over these years, i have repeatedly posted clips and pointed out casillas sooties specially on aerial balls but oh well u guys can be happy about ur GK being better than old aged van der sar and buffon

buffon was 30 back then. now if your not at your prime at 30 as a goalkeeper then i don't know when you are.
and besides buffon is still 32 which is not old for a goal keeper considering they play till their 40.
