Arsalan was sick last week as far as i know(he was played limited minutes too),so he didnt put up good stats.He had his 2 season-low scoring games last week.
But he seemed better in their last game against UCF which was ranked nationally and had an unbeaten 14-0 record early in the season.
He was double teamed at every position in the paint and they had a really good player down there which is for sure a first rounder this year(Keith Clanton).
He has to improve his shooting skills from outside the paint if he wants to become a reliable player in the NBA.Opponent teams know him as the superstar,and their plan is to double team or even triple team him in the paint and make passes to him become hard to deliver.They try to take him out and force him too shoot which he isn't good at yet.(The only weak point i see in him which he can surely improve this year after signing for the draft).Comment

Going to AK's game tonight, I had to take the entire day off to go. Anyhow, we should see a packed stadium @ Rice. Rice is taking on the University of Houston (im an alumni of the school). so tonights going to be a tough game for me to watch.. I'm a cougar by heart, but my heart is with AK and getting this win. They are always overwhelming our AK in the paint. Even if the OWLS don't win tonight, he needs to pull his double double. The last UH vs RICE game I went to, he had some really entertaining dunks. I am looking forward to that.. oh and BTW, im wearing the I.R. IRAN jersey worn against brasil by AK. /w a UH hat to go with it.. puts me on the grey side i guess
A shame to our Mr. Shahryar, he is apparently out of state, to miss this derby. It's like the biggest derby of the year!! just messing, hurry up and come back so we can atleast attend a few more games before the season endsComment
