All I have to say is that it was good to see him play upclose and personal. I am just glad he didn't get injured REALLY badly but they actually tried to hurt his leg and to quote him, zadan pahasho......

    Anytime daddash We will go to alot more games next season, hopefully. It's a shame he got elbowed to the head.. and that leg injury.. but he still managed to come back in and finish the game!

    I notice alot of people posting about the home stadium. I need to explain to people something about Rice Home games not being as packed as they should be. Only when Rice plays a big opponent like Memphis, UAB, UTEP or Texas does the stadium get packed. Remember, the cheapest tickets to these games are $25 and they are in bleachers way up @ the top. The front 100 - 104 section tickets range @ $100 and season Ticket holders hold first dibs on those front seats and believe me you'll be surprised @ how much the season ticket packages cost... almost as much as franchise professional sports season tickets. Most people who come to these home games are rich alumni dr's and lawyers, or just family members of the players who live in the city. so It's a complete different crowd than you would think.

    The thing I noticed the most about this "new" Rice team (this season) is that It's built completely around AK, constant support to the paint. Half the time AK is playin picks and getting busted around left and right while driving to the basket. Plays defense and gets back on offense quickly. Distribution from him throughout the game because of his vision and passes creates alot of support to other guards to take shots. Many ranked teams can't believe a player like this even plays for Rice. He fouls out a player almost every other game.. free throws all day long. In the league, you cant afford to foul a player like AK like you can in the NCAA.. (especially with such great players around you) leaving him dangerous for dunks all day. You should ask Memphis' coach..

    call him a small forward, guard, three guard, 4 - 5 guard. he is what he is, don't hate and you should expect alot from this big man. i will always have respect for AK regardless of his future career.

            Rice couldn't repeat its first-round upset magic, falling in the Conference USA tournament to 2-seed Tulsa, by a score of 81-72.

            The Owls got behind early, and trailed by double digits for much of the second half, but fought back, and actually had possession of the ball, trailing by just five points with under two and a half minutes to play, but head coach Ben Braun made the controversial decision not to call a timeout and get his best player, Arsalan Kazemi, on the floor. Rice failed to convert the offensive possession, Tulsa's Jordan Clarkson converted a three-point play on the other end, and that was that.

            I talked to AK on the phone, he got knocked to the ground in the 1st qtr and couldnt shoot any of his free throws, they continued to foul him. he asked the coach to come in last 2 minutes to change the game around, he told him he will turn the game around and he doubted him and he's pissed

                i know right? you got a player that plays better than a quarter in the NBA. he has brought back rice in half their games in the final 3 minutes.. Braun is a moron.

                Ben Braun needs to watch this game one more time. 00:40++

                    Rice chocked tonight, kazimi is also to blame for his poor game, he missed 8 point just on free throws!!!

                    that is not gonna do it for a player who wants to make it into nba, that what separates great players from the average players "CLUTCH" play
                    IRI = FAILED

                      in the nba, you cant foul a player like AK nine times in a game.. you get fouled out considering there will be better players on your team. he's by himself, he has to create his own plays.. he's like ali karimi back in 2002.. when you keep knocking him down, he loses his pace. AK has a 78% free throw shootin percentage.. and trust me, if you got fouled the way he did, you would of been shaking the way he did, the poor guys arm got smashed by two thug ass mofos before hitting the ground. for god sakes the UH game he got elbowed in the HEAD and came out and dunked on fools, later smashed between two UH players, ask PB how many times he got fouled. he is the only dangerous player, they dont play zone defense against Rice because of AK

                        well if he was that injured, then he should have just stayed on the bench for the rest of the game.

                        You can't sit-out and wait for your team to catch up and all of the sudden magically recover from that foul.

                          because they lose when he doesnt play and he has a fighting spirit, he gets up no matter what. this is the guy that played 5 games with a fever.. the pos rice staff didnt give a sh*t.

                          he's clutch, thats why he should of been brought in. AK had already told braun to put him in, he didnt and they lost. he runs the team bro, hes the engine.. he would of dunked, passed.. his prescenes makes a big deal.. offensively and defensively. the entire team plays better with AK on the court

                            well than god bless allen iverson and others who played with broken ankle, toe, hand and many other part and still helped their team.

                            that is a difference!!! does not matter how hard he got knocked down, if he is the team's leader, he has to step up and walk it off
