USA is going to win the 2022 bid, mark my words. (there is a reason why they withdrew from the 2018) now till that time, the united states will get stronger and stronger as a soccer nation and they will do everything to win the bid. the usa was on a chart for one of the fastest growing teams as far as strength goes.. they are on an incline.. more and more names in europe every year

they do have a good chance but theres no time to get stronger as a nation cuz 2 december we will know the results. Doesn't matter tho how strong u are as a footballnation (look at South Africa).

now about the bid, we killed to get into the 2018 bid, but we backed out because of the contenders.. now they will raise more and more money and we will get it. when the USA wants something, they will get it. plus we have the best stadiums in the world right now, fifa looks at us like "wow these guys have everything, plus its safe"
the crime in south africa that happend during the WC.. and soon brasil.. these hosting nations are going to change the mentality of the FIFA federation and how they pick up countries to host

^^^ I just don't see how it can be an honest open bid process. There is a lot of corruption. Votes are practically being bought/sold.

but, the Qatar bid has too much going against it:
- The unbearable and hazardous heat
- Crap stadiums that look like snails/lizards
- Waste of a precious WC allocation going to the so-called 'host nation'
- Lack of pedigree
- Lack of History
- Lack of Culture
- Poor infrastructure to cope with hosting such an event
- Threat of terrorism
- Abuse of the Persian Gulf
- The fact that the whole place will sink into the Persian Gulf much sooner than 2022
