Alll of this is B.S to get people all excited and then shit on their haaal at the end..we should believe this story when we see him training with TM..with a short time we have to the Asian cup starting and ghobti first once to go to germany and see him sounds like Ghobti taken the opportunity to just go have some German beer and then say ashkan has FIFA issues at the end..allll full of fake news!!! None of these newspapers or tv stations tell one word of truth

EXCELLENT! WELCOME ASHKAN!!!! MAKE US PROUD!

This is excellent news because Dejagah actually has the skill set to be a lone striker. I have a very very good feeling about him in TM, I don't see him as any kind of savior, but we've significantly upped the quality of one of our major need positions. I agree with a previous poster that said we should invite Gucci now, maybe not for the Asian Cup, but soon.

And also Kaebi MUST MUST MUST return. He's our best option at RB and gives us more depth along the back line by allowing Heydari to go to the bench.

This has given me hope that with a little luck, we just might be able to pull off a win in the Asian Cup.

Dejagah's position in Wolfsburg is an attacking midfielder. Not a lone striker.

His stats for his last 40 games are 2 goals and 0 assists (You can check that here). That hardly supports trying him out as a lone striker, when we have players like Gholami, Oladi and Ansarifard.

Ghotbi is most likely going to have him compete with Rezaei for that right attacking midfielder position in his 4-3-2-1 system.

So what is his best natural position?

I have seen him play anywhere from attacking center midfielder, to support striker, to lone striker.

he has always played as an attacking midfielder for club level, but he did play as lone striker in the euro u21 that germany won a couple of years ago.

for some reason(im sure its political) IFF is really trying to win stuff. they already failed to take a medal from asian olympics even with the help of 3 TM players, now dejageh. im not sure if he could make a difference since our problem was never players anyways
