what a f***ing joke! an arab world cup?!! garbage!! fifa is starting to become very low class and corrupt! kavian is right in that the arabs will surely go on an a***** gulf propaganda which by the way if the government was from iranian people and for iranian people then this a***** gulf crap is grounds for war!!
you can be certain if i had power there would be at first a warning to the leader of such nations followed by a full attack!
iran should take over these islands that belong to it anyways and clear the persian gulf of the 3-4 small arab nations that have 0 respect for history and integrity and make it without a doubt who the persian gulf belongs to.

Congradulations to Qatar, their federation and their world cup committee... they had some tough competition...

on the issue of Arabian Gulf... FIFA will not let you drink a bear brand that's not authorized... do you think they'll let these guys use this opportunity to push a political agenda?!?! There's nothing to worry about... but it would be nice for us to take the opportunity to make our voices heard over this issue...

personally, i find it ridiculous that we let our government take our entire identity and history away so easily but get so worked up over a body of water's name...

Will Qatar2022 give more exposition to AC2011 and to Asian football (especially to Iran)? Nobody in Europe is interested in Asian cup whereas African nation cup is hugely covered by media. However this african countries have similar/worse results in World cup compared to Asian one.

With Korea/Japan, they have wonderful fans with alot of passion.. Look at the previous World Cups, and see how many fans they actually have.
Qatar - never been champions of Asia.. never qualified to a World Cup.. and when they do have games(competitive games aswell) , the atmosphere is so flat, poor and just not even football spectacle to watch.
Best candidate? Ya, in terms of wealth and money, but best candidate to host a World Cup? Not in a million chance.
England losing in the first round is a JOKE. Jack Warner (with 3 committees) promised to vote for England, but changed his mind(probably due to panorama)
FIFA - your a joke. Clearly Qatar+Russia had a way of supporting each other for the voting scheme.
y u bring being iranian into this whats that has to do with anything hussain ?? which is an arabic name by the way
maybe u dont remmeber the past or not old enough but I do, japan was not good at football they only qualified WC after realizing they will be the first team to oraganize the WC without qualifying to it. so they worked hard to qualify in 1998 for the first time.
and korea we all remmeber that iran used to beat them all the time in the past.
finally if qatar and russia had a way of supporting each other dont you think england has more power and influence than both to do the same? :bs:

I'm surprised as an Iranian, that you would back Qatars bid.

If you look closely at the draw.. Holland/Belgium had 3 votes, then in the next round got 1 vote.. how can your votes decrease??? It clearly shows the people that voted for Russia wanted England out, then they would vote for Russia, as Holland/Belgium would go out easier.

Secondly, it kills me how Qatar won it SO EASILY (14 votes to 8). Austrailia getting knocked out first round? Thats a FIX. USA (hosted at 94, I can understand). same with Korea/Japan (2022), but Austrailia?? First time in a new continent, new country to host a magnificent event.

Austrailia and England looked likely contenders, but were both knocked out in the first round with the least votes? Don't tell me thats B.S , because it's not.

Anyhow, what is there to argue? The damage is done.

2030 is our next hope.. (oh dear)

                        Is this guy serious??

Qatar have just blatantly bought a WC that was deemed to be 'high-risk' even by FIFA themselves and you're telling us that FIFA won't allow them to use every possible moment at the event to abuse the Persian Gulf?

i didnt realize that to be an iranian you have to hate qatar or shall we say arabs
as to your theory of course people who want russia like to see england out of the game thats obvious. there is only one winner. and secondly what if things went wrong and russia didnt get the enough votes for the first round do you think it is worth risking it 2 votes ?
third if you look at the votes in the first round england got 2, netherland 4 russia 9 then spain 7. england was not favourite 2 votes only !! how many commettie members do think russia can bribe
and after 1st round clearly its between russia and spain and its very close so the swing in netherland votes is likely explained by knowing that they are backing the wrong horse and they need act if have a favourite between spain and russia

the worst thing about the world cup in Qatar? the fact that for 3 games we are gonna have to be subjected to Qatars national team.

and they are gonna be a top seed, so its gonna be some terrible matchup like Qatar-Honduras or something

On a positive note for the 8-0ers, their record will be broken.
