very talented player whom I enjoyed watching since his days in Georgetown. Unfortunately, had no work ethic and had a horrible attitude.

People whose skills are great only because of their speed, have short careers cuz their bodies will give up on them. He is a prime example of that. MJ and Kobe as they got older they learned new skills to compensate for their lack of speed and overall athletic ability. Say Air Jordan all you want but I remember him having a 50 point game with the wiz and he did it cuz he was ridiculously skilled and as he said, "outsmarted" everyone else.

Now if and only if AI had done the same

He had a short career? I believe he made 11 All-Star teams and was a star well up to age 33? If you consider that a "prime example" of a short career, then I don't know what to tell you.

short career for someone considered one of the best ever and a former MVP. How many MVPs while still having game go to Turkey to play bball?
Babk, dont put too much stock into allstar selections. AI was picked as a starter a few years ago when he wasn even playing. Its a popularity contest. Kobe's first slection he was a bench player, but people voted for him cuz he was exciting.

Anyways, I dont have to put AI down really and I don't want to . He has done the job himself

his career was far from short and hewas the main reason the 76ers made it to the finals in 01.

are you talking about a season 10 years before and only 5 years after he was drafted!?

So you win the MVP only 5 years after you were drafted and while still having game, NOBODY in the NBA wants you so you have to go to Turkey......Even Stevie Wonder can see there is something wrong here

For 11 seasons, he put up more than 25 ppg, the last time was with the nuggets 2 years ago. since then hes been injured multiple times, he's been getting old. Hes played a long and glorious career, now let him enjoy his stay in the UAE of basketball.

the nuggets got better without him. The pistons got better without him. avg points means nothing. He had 6-7 solid seasons only and you and Babak are puttin him down by giving him credit. His talent and drive was waay more than his output. Its lke ali karimi fans who defend him. A true karimi fan knows he underperformed because a true karimi fan knows how good he really was.

I traded him away from my 2002 fantasy team cause his shooting % was too low and it was fking my team up

AI should be in the NBA right now, tearing it up but he is playing takhteh and havingkabob torki instead
