And Crouch would be his no 1 replacement, owen will be ready for the world cup and vassell has been out of the equation for a long time.

If you are serious with that, you either dont know who he is or are clueless about football.

He is confirmed out for 6 weeks, he has fractured a bone in his right foot, sad news indeed.

So that means that he may recover around the time when England play their first actual World Cup game. Wish old Roo boy all the best.

He will either be back just in time for the World Cup or he will miss just the first game I think, we'll see...but I really hope he plays so England wont have something to wine about if they dont get far.

Rooney broke the same foot in Euro 2004 and was said that he would be out for 6 weeks. He was back playing soccer in 10 weeks. It looks like none of you have broken a foot playing soccer.

Now, forget about Rooney. I am getting worried about Karimi coming back. I keep reading Karimi and Deisler in the same sentence on Bayern's site. And we all know that Deisler will be out of the world cup. So, it makes me worried.

Though i don't like Rooney, I really want England to do well in the World Cup (after Iran of course ), so it's bad news for me!
