Thats why Barcelona made a Manchester United that won the EPL a few years in a row look like a amateur team in the Champions league final!?!?
Spain league is a two team league because Barca and Real are so strong not because the other teams are weak, I bet if Atletico, Villareal, Sevilla etc. were in the premier league they would be top 5 every season

It's my opinion, take it or leave it, but don't cry or whine about it.

In Spain,as you can see,Barca have amassed 103 points out of possible 117 in calendar year 2010.Madrid have got 100 points.now thats more than 85% of the matches they have won that they have played. So you can see how one sided it is there.

Shayan, the point Andy Gray is talking about is that in Spain, there is no one to rival the big two.no one doubts whether the other clubs in Spain can't win Europa or not. It's about how those teams don't give a fight to Barcelona and Madrid in the league.Sevilla lost to Barca 5-0 ffs.last season they lost 4-0 and now 5-0.they were terrible in that one.didn't give a fight.Madrid have won by a 5 goal margin on more than 5 occasion this season.Teams don't go upto them.that's the problem and the debate here.

In England, you see Stoke play United. They have given a stiff fight every season and lost by slender margins at Britannia.Mid-table teams like Liverpool,Everton,City won't go and lose at places like Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge like that. It's a rare scenario when that happens. Most matches are very tight and joy to watch for neutrals.for eg. the Spur-Arsenal game.for years Arsenal have made Spurs their puppies.but not anymore.Spurs have got themselves a good squad and are giving a tough fight to all teams.do you see 4th placed team in Spain do that? Not often.they bottle it in many games.Valencia are the only team this season to have actually played it upto the big two in Spain.others have not done a thing to deserve a point.Hercules did great to win at Nou Camp and played the way football should be played in Camp Nou and they were rewarded.Other teams don't do that.Villereal,Sevilla,Athletico Madrid have all been bitter disappointment in La Liga this season against the big two.

yh, word! people keep on going on about bottom of the table teams in la liga are wining or putting up a gd challenge against barca and real and thus making the league competitive but the difference in epl is these teams actually challenge other teams as well and are known to be hard to beat all year around. i just find this argument really silly when u only have two teams that pretty much rule the league in spain and yet people come say its more competitive and better to watch then epl. you can argue in uk we have the top 4 with chelsea and united wining everything but just look at the points scored and how close the teams are.

Just because La Liga has two stand-out teams, doesn't equate to its lack of depth. Teams like Sevilla (back to back Europa League champs), Valencia, Athletico Madrid (last year Europa League champs), and Villareal are very competitive teams with stacked rosters, and on a good day can defeat any EPL team... EPL involves more running down the flanks, and its fluidity is pleasing to the eye, but that doesn't make it deeper or give it an edge to La Liga. Finally, the EPL has only recently gotten more competitive as the teams are owned by billionaires (in some cases, limitless fund availability such as ManCity) and only this year you can see mid-table teams challenging the top tier teams. But, if you look at the EPL history, there is only ManUtd, Chelsea (more recently), and Arsenal who have been winning titles on a more consistent basis (excluding the last five, six years for Arsenal).

^ Get your facts right , can't believe you just missed out liverpool wow !
and just look at clubs like Barcelona and real , how much money the have to buy players every year and sign new players while teams like manchester united are still in debt more then a billion !

Andy garay is just a big fat epl sucker ffs guys he analyses epl games for sky sports what else do you expect him to say other than advertise epl?!
thr same can be said about epl teams finding it hard against la liga teams.manchester united ha not scored a goal in 4 matches against villarreal in ucl!
Put them in la liga and they would struggle to stay in top 5.
That'd just the difference in culture between leagues.
Barca stream rolled thr guns of epl "united and arsenal" they will have no problem smashing other teams! Of course those animals will probably aim to break messi's leg more often like bastards Espanyol and Real Madrid!

                      GRACIAS PEP

Of course EPL has more depth, why is there even a discussion?
Arsenal just won against Chelsea. When was the last time Valencia or Atletico Madrid won like that against RM or Barca?
In EPL mid-table teams dont always lose against the top teams, but in La Liga they always do.
Anyone who says "well Barca is better than Man U" is an idiot. Yes, Barca is currently much better than any other team, but thats not the point, Andy Gray is talking about DEPTH, and he is 100% right.

Be realistic bro that was like 2 years ago , Barcelona just lost once last season and it was against atheltico madrid and it was a pretty tight game which I would and it was an a away match for barcelona . but even with that barcelona still destroyed them 5-2 at home

Ill just give you an a example form EPL , Everton not a really strong team that you could consider for the title race but they still managed to beat Man city with all those starts home and away , Tie with tottenham away , Tie with the champions Chelsea at Stamford bridge 3-3 and then beat them back in Everton 2-1 and a win against Manchester united in Everton again !

So tell me what can you tell from a team like this ?

                                Lol @ examples people use.

Didn't Peykan just beat PP? Does the IPL have more depth now?

Where is the logic in this argument? I just don't see it.
