When you have a ref shift momentum against you by sending off your players, awarding 2 penalties and not sending off Nolan nor carding Barton....your pretty disadvantaged.

And put your selves in Arsenal shoes, if a ref did that to your team you would feel exactly the same way. (and don't have an opinion about the game cause i know the majority of you have only seen highlights & not the full match)

La Liga is a 2 team race it is as competitive as the SPL & Dutch league. If Barcelona played rough English teams 38 times a year with no winter break they would not be on top of the ladder nor have a fit squad to compete in the champions league all the time.

The ref did mess up big time, but as Wenger said post match, we got scared and tried to defend our lead and stopped playing after the red. And Newcastle showed a lot of heart in the second half, so it wasn't completely undeserved.
