its not about competition, that no reason to say SerieA is best because its more competitive thats a BS argument. Iranian league is the most competitive, just look at the table and points separating the teams, does that make IPL the best league?
what matters is the quality of the teams in that league, even the top italian teams are garbage and get owned by crap teams of La liga and EPL (liverpool owning napoli, atletico madrid v inter in supercopa).
not to mention even their lower clubs are crap, look at the past few years in europa league, Only spanish teams out of the top3 leagues have won it more times and we had teams like espnayol, osasuna, sevilla raping the opposition.

well the year Espanyol made to final losing to Sevilla, they raped some big clubs like Werder Bremen (0-3 away result I think) and others I cant remember.
and Sevilla owned english clubs most notably middlesbourght in the final 4-0
this so called "weak" spanish league, still has the best teams below top4 than SerieA, Bundesliga and EPL.

but still there is more competition in serie A than any other league, just look at the table...while in EPL, La liga and bundesliga there are 2 teams usually that dominate and no one can beat them.


and funny enough, an italian team won CL last year Milan won in 2005 and 2007...sure inter had only few italians but still an italian team that got strong cuz of serie A and they never ass raped teams like big teams in other leagues do, they normally won with a margin of 1 goal
