Italy is far away from the three other leagues and they have to watch France because they are only 1,4 Point infront of France after this season
20 years ago? lol last i checked two italian teams won CL in last 5 years

anyway, i think italian football is great, its not boring at all and those who say obviously dont watch. Bring up the stats of the top italian match ups vs. england, spain or germany and you will see the proof. Yes some games might have slow moments and thats because its a physical and tactical game, so its not just kharaki up and down like england or its not one sided barca real attacking while the other team defends. There are lots of upsets and even the drama that happens is exciting to me. Maybe u like watching a stacked team like man city kill the others but i appreciate more of a competitive match. we can agree to disagree

again lol at your 80s example

Ok you dont get it, maybe because of my bad english. With my example with the end of 80's i wanted to say that at that time the italian style of football was the best and even in the mid 90's remembering the perfection of the 4-4-2 by aricco sacchi. And today the league is far away from the top 3 leagues. Thats true that italian teams have won the Championsleague twice but we talking about the leagues. look at the 5 years ranking, in every year in the last 5 years they never made more points than the English, Spanish oder German league and that means all in all the teams sucked. When we look at the titles in the last ten years than is the portugal league even better than the german, when we look at championsleague and europa league. And 2010 the only think that was italian was the name Inter Milan. The players were all foreigners, the coach and his style.

well Napoli did great to come out of that group.
AC Milan and Barca were in the easiest group and their qualification was guaranteed before the games even started!
And I wouldnt be proud of Inter in CL with their results losing at home to the turkish team LOL
We'll see in the knockout rounds which teams will dominate
if any teams manages to knockout Barca/Madrid, they will be champs.

          GRACIAS PEP

do you know how the pointing system works?

CL and EL have same points, you get 2 points for wins, 1 point for ties and 0 for losses
Italian teams dont take EL seriously because there isnt enough money in it compared to CL and not as much prestige...so they tend to get out of it quick by fielding their B teams. So over the years their points dropped and hence losing a CL spot cuz portugese, french, spanish, german teams took them seriously. Yes that is the fault of the teams and i'm not happy about that but like i said italian football is making a comeback, they just went thru a bad spell for few years, its not like they fell of like the dutch league.
