Chelsea was able to comeback from a 1-0 deficit following Wayne Rooney's goal to win 2-1 with goals from new signing David Luiz and Frank Lampard from the penalty spot. Vidic was given a red card in the last minutes of the game as well.

I went nuts during this match just based on the consistency of the ref. I understand when refs miss calls and they do go around, we get breaks throughout the season as well. However what drives me bonkers is when a ref makes a call at one end and doesn't at the other, ie. Evra booked for blocking off Torres and not even a call on Luiz

We didn't play well in the second half, but that will be the case when on the road and having a team like Chelsea needing the result. We were doing alright catching them on the break until they scored. However we can't complain too much as our performance in the second half was not great.

Really disappointed but hey we never do things the easy way, come on lads!!! Long way to go.

I just never feel confident playing Chelsea, we just never seem to get the calls when needed. Those are the breaks, but we have to now go and win at Anfield and get on track to get some momentum back on our side and silence our critics.

before the game.. I spoke to Manchester United fans, and I raised two points..

1 - People are completely underestimating Chelsea; they are champions, champions never give up their title without a fight, and EVERYONE raises their game when Man United are in town.

2 - We've been poor away from Old Trafford all season... was left scratching my head thinking that people expected two wins out of two.. at two of the toughest places to go to in the Premier League.

no I just think man utd willl win the league because of their defence but I cant imagine seeing rooney elbowing that poor guy the mathc before this one, and getting away with it.
serosuly fk the FA, the english players get away with everything in their league if drogba did something like that he would be banned for sure.

The FA rules is that if the referee has spotted it, then you cannot take chargers. He saw the elbow, and gave a warning to Rooney.. Wrong decision.

If the referee did not spot the elbow, then the FA can take charges.

For this case, the FA criticize Clattenburg and make sure he doesn't ref next week EPL game.
