Well, I said Champions League, when the name was invented in 1992, so Van Basten,Gulit,Ancelotti, Donadoni and Cruyff don't count.

There are four players to have won back-to-back Champions League titles - all with different clubs. The first man to do so was Marcel Desailly, who was part of the Marseille team that beat AC Milan 1-0 in 1993 - and he then joined the Italian club in the summer before helping them to win the Champions League in 1994, beating Barcelona 4-0 in the final.

The second man is Portuguese midfielder Paulo Sousa, who was part of the Juventus team that beat Ajax on penalties in 1996. He then moved to Borussia Dortmund later that year and helped them to beat his former club Juventus 3-1 in the 1997 final.

Gerard Pique won a Champions League winners medal with Manchester United in 2008, although he was not involved in the final against Chelsea. However, he started for Barcelona the following year and helped them to beat his former club in the final.

The most recent man to achieve the feat was Samuel Eto'o, who played and scored for Barcelona in that 2009 final. He then won the competition again last summer with Internazionale, beating Bayern Munich in the final and knocking his old team out in the semis.
