Kamal Shalorus - MMA/UFC fighter thread

Not sure if you guys have seen him or not but i've seen 2 fights from him on tv and he's pretty impressive.

He has a fight coming up at UFC 128 vs. Jim Miller , March 19, 2011 (day before eid!)


He has a very powerful punch, good physique and seems very calm. I dont know if its his tactics depending on opponent but i wish he was a bit faster and when he hits opponents, he doesnt go after them with punch after punch like some other fighters do. If he does this, i think he can get more knockouts.

So far he's undefeated, 9 wins, 2 draws

Yeah I'm looking to see what he can do in the UFC. I hope his boxing will get better, because without that I don't think that he'll succeed in the UFC.

Ya i have followed him since his first match in the WEC, His wrestling is world class, his stand up is very aggressive but sometimes too aggressive and that can cause trouble, he needs a lil bit better conditioning though, and his bjj is pretty underated and good..
I can not wait for his fight against Jim Miller, hes considered a top 3 lightweight in ufc

Kamal is a nice person I know him for a long time in Facebook.
He is from Khalkhal a village or town in Ardebil.

The fight against Miller will be very hard,Kamal is a great fighter but surely not in the top 5 right now but if he beats Miller(who is very hard to beat) he will get his chance for a top fight
