Edit: I looked this up. I believe mine is correct in the general sense. I believe the answer you are looking for is injury forced substitutions while mine is the first just-because substitution.
i was looking for a name.

I don't know the name of the Russian guy I had in mind. I could give you the one I believe you have in mind but I looked it up so it would be cheating.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

I put all of my answers below in white so others wouldn't see. Highlight them and tell me if I'm right.

          Lothar Mattheus-25 games.
Jairzinho, Brazil in the 1970 World Cup.
Holland. Don't know the teams that played in the first game though although I'm guessing as host Holland was one of them.
Edit: Actually I think you mean outdoor game played indoors, not futsal. That would be the US-Switerland game in 1994. I was at that game!

            1) Matthaus? 21 or so I think.
            2) That's got to be Just Fontaine since he scored in every match of his team in 1958
            3) hmmm... I think the first completely indoor stadium built for a WC was the Sapporo Dome in Japan, right? so maybe the infamous 8-0?

Here is one I think is interesting how many cities will be hosting a world cup game in Brazil?
It's Persian Gulf you Pan Arabists. Congratulations Michigan State Spartans 2014 Rose Bowl Champions. Go Arsenal football.

Your phrasing of the third question confused me. But why is my number 2 answer incorrect? because France didn't play the final? well, viceversa could be said for Jairzinho, that he didn't score in the third place match.

i would ve accepted another answer as well but it was not just fontain, jairzinho scored in every round including the final making it 6 games. the other guy Alcide Ghiggia of Uruguay in 1950 scored in every match he played which was 4 games however it was not in every round.

I don't know the name off the top of my head but know what you are taking about. I'm now gonna go grab a deck of cards and play hokm even though my partner wants to play checkers. And yes, there were two clues in that sentence.

Shortly after the World Cup, Poll retired from refereeing international games, citing this game as a direct cause. Upon the release of his autobiography in 2007, Poll revealed that, upon booking Šimunić for the second time, he had erroneously recorded him as "Australia #3" (who was defender Craig Moore), due to Šimunić's Australian accent.

Not a World Cup question but who are the first (and as far as I know only) father and son to play in the same national team game for their country?
