Manchester - Manchester United's Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo has had £30 000 (R338 000) worth of jewellery stolen from his home by burglars, police said Wednesday.

Ronaldo's house near Manchester was broken into when Ronaldo was away playing for United and Portugal.

He discovered the loss on his return home last week and informed the police but has decided not to pursue a formal complaint. - Sapa-AFP

You hijack a vehicle like a car or an aeroplane. You kidnap a person and you burgle a house stealing items.
