the thing is.. when you all say rooney drops deep, thats from an attacking perspective,he gets the ball and dictates the play.. it comes 4-1-1.. but when barca have the ball, rooney is not going to drop back so much to 'get barcas DM player'

I think a player thats not been spoken about is VALENCIA. I think he will be a vital player. If there's one weakness in barca team, its the full-backs. The left-back is either going to be puyol or adriano, so Val should fancy his chances. In 2009, we didn't exploit the full-backs too much. Rooney and Park were quite ineffective. Give the ball to Valencia, and 1 v 1 - he can destroy any left-back (look what he done with Ashley Cole).

For those of you looking for positive omens ahead of Saturday's final, how about this? This is the 11th meeting between the teams and the record so far is three wins each and four draws. Neither side has won consecutive games. United lost the last meeting, which means the Reds should win over 90 minutes this time.

Although he's only came back from the operation, he is ready to play.
headache for Pep is that Macherani has been fantastic specially at centre back. so he might play him and Pique at centre back and Puyol on the left.

He has been our best player this season - excluding Messi.
Too bad he got that disease
I hope he will bounce back for the final, but i don't know if he's fit enough for it :/

i think man u will win quite comfortably, 3 - 1. After watching the real barca game, i saw that barca coudnt break down real without play acting for a red card. i think man u will be even better organised and can win quite comfortably unless barca really turn it on even for thier standards. As much as i hate man u, i might support them this time cos barca has pissed me of alot this season, just my opinion.

Morini-hoe showed Sir Alex how to contain & suffocate the potent offense & smooth passing of FC Bollywood .,! Let them have all the possession they want going sideways & up only as far as the last third of the pitch & then crowd up & wait to pounce on the first bad touch and kill them with a swift counter..! Special One is a great defensive coach & master of mind games and psyche part of the game but never been able to put together a harmonious, well-organized offensive team regardless of aboundance of top talent at his disposal..! Containing Messi & Xavi & not allowing them any through balls & runs, is the key to victory for manchoster..! They have a far more stout & expreinced defense than Madrid & on on offense they work much more efficiently..!
As far as attacking as hossain mentioned barfa's left side is the most sucesptible, need a player like Nani with trickery or a hard worker, persistent force like Valencia to get through & unlock FC bollywood defense & soorakh keeper..!
D. Alavez is a pittbul & always a big-game stud..! No sense in even trying to attack down his wing..!
The longer this game stays scoreless the more it will favor manchoster ..!& so log as the refs don't fall again for the dirty theatrics of FC Bollywood & don't Fk the whole game with a bs dismissal or unnessesary card, then this would be a somewhat comfortable win for manchoster ..!

barca will be ok with adriano or abidal at left back...if anything dani alves is the weak link on fullback position so someone like nani needs to take advantage
