    Samuel Eto'o

    Tremendous.

Has such a superb skill set and can do a lot more than just score goals.

I think what's more impressive is that he's maintained a superb rate of goal scoring and high level of performance while being at different clubs - at Barcelona he was reliable, and that hasn't changed since he got to Inter.

Will go down as one of, if not the best African footballer ever.

    Individual honours:

Young African Player of the Year: 2000
    African Player of the Year: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2010
    FIFPro World XI: 2005, 2006
UEFA Team of the Year: 2005, 2006
African Cup of Nations Top Scorer: 2006, 2008
UEFA Champions League Best Forward: 2006
    La Liga Top Scorer: 2006
African Cup of Nations All-Time Top Scorer
    RCD Mallorca All-Time Top Scorer
    Cameroon All-Time Top Scorer
2005 FIFA World Player of the Year Third
UEFA Champions League Final Man of the Match 2006
FIFA Club World Cup – Golden Ball 2010
CAF Starting XI in the Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2006

    Club honors:
    Internationals:

    Cameroon

I rate him higher than Drogba.
Best african striker IMO. Any top European team will want him to be in their starting eleven.

they didn't realize how talented he was at the younger age and let him go!

That deal with Ibrahamovic still amazes me, Inter got the better player and 42 mil, best deal in football ever.

def. the best african i have every seen....its just too bad this generation of cameroon national team is not that great. If he was around in early 90s he'd have way more honors and who knows maybe top 4 in world cup. Barca should've kept him instead of trying for Ibra

Guardiola showed his inexperience, more than once he made some very dodgy decisions bringing in useless players for a lot of money. Chgrysnly 20Mil or something and he rarely ever played...Ibra at most equal in value with Etoo but to pay so much for him was a huge mistake.
Also will be a big mistake if he brings Cesc for more than 30Mil. Its a waste of money when Xavi-Iniesta still the best midfielders in the world and Keita, Macherano, Thiago are good replacements.

Dont know how truth is this but on twitter barcastuff says Pep wants Patrick Evra!

Cesc would make sense.. He would be the perfect replacement for Xavi, who is 32..

Xavi has never shown sign of tirednes or getting old. If anything he has actually improved HHe's got at least 2 more years in him.

In 3-4 years time Thiago will be a better play than Cesc.

Barca were idiots when they got rid of Eto'o. He was a perfect fit for them.

They say you would only find out the value of a player after he is gone..

exactly, like right now, if Rooney was to leave Man U, that team would be soooo different...they would be fighting for CL spots instead of Premier League titles. In the final against Barca, he was the only bright spot of the entire Man U team.

When alot of Man Utd fans turned their back on Rooney in October for not signing a new contract, me and few others were the only ones defending him. He's just our 'spark' ever since Ronaldo and Tevez went. Thank God, Ferguson convinced him to stay.
