    Hats off to Robbie Keane

May not be the most gifted footballer ever to come from the British Isles but last night he became the first footballer from the British Isles to score more than 50 international goals

He now has 51 goals after the goals he got in Irelands 2-0 win in Macedonia

Leading scorers for the other home nations are:

    Wales - 28 Ian Rush
Scotland - 30 (joint) Kenny Dalglish and Denis Law (red legend)
Northern Ireland - 35 David Healy (ex Red)
England - 49 Sir Bobby Charlton (yet another red legend).

He's an easily likable player - all action and heart, gives a lot for his team without complaining.

    Pleased for him..

i use to like him during his first stink at spurs. he was pretty reliable but as soon as he went to liverpool hes career went down the drain. il never forget his WC 2002 celebration.

I saw him once in mahiki, just before he moved from spurs. he seemed agitated.

His trademark cartwheel celebration was cool. Haven't seen him do it lately though, think the old man's knees are giving way or something.

He wasn't that good for Liverpool, he was okay. Just didn't cut it at a bigger club.

When he went back to Spurs, Pavluchenko,Crouch and Defoe were ahead of him in pecking order, then he went on loan to West Ham.

It will be interesting where he goes now, I'm sure he would want to leave Spurs, and Premiership clubs would be interested, because he does bring goals and alot of work-rate upfront.
