Iran wins 79-62. They controlled the game pretty well, and although the Koreans were in reach of 6 points at the beginning of the 4th quarter, the lead was never threatened. Good test anyhow, the Koreans stood up pretty well.

Sadly, Bahrami twisted his ankle and it's unclear whether it was serious or not. Good thing is that tomorrow is a rest day.

Jordan next on friday as QFs start, those games always get tense. We usually have problems with them, lets hope we get an easy win this time.

Can someone update us about Bahrami's injury? Is he out for the next games. I hope not. Because even though we have other good players, we really needed him for the final match against China. No the results of the preliminary round have been carried on the second round. So we will be facing Jordan on Friday in the Quarter Finals.

i was asleep so i could not do a report. our first real test and we spank Korea. next up is Jordan. always tense game between the two teams. but that is okay if we are good enough to beat korea we are good enough to beat jordan as well.
