this is basketball, not math. Sometimes two and two don't have to
equal four. Jordan was just lucky today, no more.

how does that prove your point ?
we are the ex-champions, and our team is stronger than before
All it takes is a few stupid mistakes to lose in basketball

we got coCCky, and lost the game, jordan did not beat us. we beat ourselves. as i have said before only one player on the team has high basketball IQ, that is bahrami. both HH and kazimi were disappointing eventhough they should be the one carrying our team in these games. we also got out coached. we need a new coach. we blow it. we had the chance but could not stop the 3 ptsers.
now lets see if HH will be more coCCKy and write "parcham bala" on his facebook after this dismal performance by a nba player with 3 years of experience. instead of improving his game he as picked up black basketball culture.IRI = FAILED

i didnt watch the game and thank god, im not surprised we iranians lack mentallity in every sport. WE have the talent and everythinng to reach greatness but one thing holds us back and thats our lack of focus and mentallity. I guess u can say this about our country's history too, full of great moments but lacks that one last element that makes us GREAT!

Tough loss, but this game would have happened only like once in a 100, and that once happened to be in the qualification of the Olympic games. I mean Jordan was shooting ridiculously amazing from beyond the arc in the last Quarter.
Too much pressure on our boys to get the gold medal easily made them lose their concentration and get nervous in the final 2 minutes, though i think if Matic had coached us the right way we should have sealed the game by halftime.
I mean for gods sake this is a Quarter Final match. If Samad isn't injured and can play 20 minutes give him the first 20 minutes. You have to go strong to the court. He was the only guy having motivation and roohie on the team. You don;t get on the court in the first half with players like Atashi and Davarpanah in such a crucial game. The Coaching staff itself had taken Jordan unserious in the first place not the players. Does Arsalan Kazemi have to play 23 minutes in this kind of game. He was all on the boards and was dunking the shit out of Jordanians. He managed 16 rebounds(2 more than Haddadi who played for like 40 minutes).
Arsalan is a kind of player you can't pass by his name easily, but Matic idiotically did.
Anyway don't bring up the psychology kind of stuff guys. This team has indeed won 2 back to back Asian golds in the last 4 years and played in the Olympics 3 years ago. So that isn't a valid point for real.
Keyan jan as you are pretty close to Arsalan please make him feel better, i saw a sentence on his facebook page saying:
"kash mimordama in etefagh nemioftad ((( sorry Iran..."
Man put your head up, you are our hero. You are gonna have a bright future in the NBA and in future national tournaments. You are the new king boy
Damet garm Arsalan jan.

Asian Volleyball Champs in Tehran is a pre-qualification tournament for Olympics, top 4 teams + Japan will advance to the main qualification tournament in Japan. now We are in second round with a perfect record. next is Pakistan on Sunday and Japan on Monday.
in Handball Korea is really strong, it's not impossible but it is really hard to beat them. and we have to beat KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain first.
