there is absolutely no way we can beat china.

we will finish second though and that is a huge achievement

please look at the stats of the big teams in this tournament and you will see no one has scored as much as Iran and as well as having the best point difference by a mile.
with this, any neutral fan would assume it a failure for iran not to beat china who only have the home crowd as their advantage. also maybe you don't watch much basketball but this team has won the asian championship twice in a row including beating china last time which they also hosted by 20pts in the final and the team from since then has improved massively.
iran could lose as china are the hosts but you can't say there's "absolutely no way we can beat china."

If we win against Jordan, we will most likely face Philippines in the semis. Further on it's likely that China will be the opponent in the final. This means that we will be facing the best teams of Asia in four straight games (including the game against Korea that we just won).

By the way, I just realised that they moved our match against Jordan to 13:30 local time. It was originally supposed to be played at 15:30, but apparently they chose to switch this game with the Korea-Japan game. I'm getting tired of this mess that mostly benefits the Chinese team. :bs:

If Iran doesn't win this tournament, I hope anyone but China does.

i actually think we got a easier road to final then China. Jordan is not any tougher than other teams we have faced thus far and philipines is not that great of a team, we beat them by double figures about a month ago in Wiliam jone cup.

Having said that we still have to show up and play our game. one game at a time. First take care of Jordan.
