Haddadi did everything in this game, but his c0ckiness got the better of him. The technical foul he committed, plus the turnover right after cost Iran the game. Although to be fair, we didn't really focus on this game.

We lost to a team with a 3 loss in the tournament and went out. The worse of all is that we do not get a chance to go to Olympics Only because we were not able to capitalize on our strength and mistakes Jordan made poor free throws and .... this is the saddest day in Iranian Basketball history.. One of the best teams of Asia is out while weaker teams that we beat by a high margin are in for the medal. Why we lose the psychological war against Arabs all the time ? WELL WE ARE OUT

Im really pissed off.. this team was supposed to reach atleast the final without any problems. We beat Korea, Lebanon a few days ago who are stronger than Jordan. Last month we won the Jones Cup by beating everyone but China.

We didnt even reach the playoffs of the Olympics. Wow i cannot believe that we have to wait another 4 years. This is like Iran TM losing a bid in the WC. Such heartbreak.

The strategy against Iran from now on in any tournament will be : FOUL AGAINST THEM AND WISH FOR THE BEST because they can not score on free throws

I can't bear this loss honestly. What a shocking last 5 minutes performance by Iran While they were ahead by 7 points and were closing the game. Jordan made a big mistake by fouling and lost its best player (Foul Out) and then we went into the box and committed stupid runnings fouls while we could just shoot for 2 pointers knowing Haddai could easily convert them And that stupid foul by Haddadi nailed our coffin for good Worst play in the most important stage against the weakest team in the 1/4 final.
We should have lost a tactical game against korea knowing the fact that Jordan is our black cat We could easily beat japan and go to Semis JEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzz

The worst part is that this was like our "golden generation". If we manage to qualify for the Olympics in 2018, Bahrami will be 33 years old and Haddadi 31. Unfortunately, we might see a decline of quality in Iranian basketball the upcoming years. Very sad...

And Philippinians (of all people) are mocking our team on the net for our early exit...

Definitley a bad coaching by adopting a very strange defensive style after a 7 pint lead and while Iran had the chance to lead by 9 !!!!

Yes bro. It is sad. especially seeing the fans from Philippines mocking us i saw the comments on FIBA. Poor analyzers who had all predicted for Iran's 3rd championship. what an upset

I mean who can believe this? All stars team against Jordan!!! Double rebounds but losing at the end. If those free throws were not wasted

Aidin kojaei ke yadat bekheir. Seriously the coach should have played Samad from the begining. He is the only one who has accurate penalties and 2-point throws. Also why play Haddadi for 40 minutes? Kardoust played well in the last games, could have got a few minutes.

Unnecessary pride and underestimating the opponent has been announced as the main reason of Iran's loss by the coaches

Normally i would be really pissed at this loss but since china beat them by 30 i think its better we lose like this then embarrassed by china.
