Jordan just defeated Philippines with 75-61 in the semifinal and thus reached the final. I actually think they have a decent chance of winning it all, regardless of their opponents being China or Korea.
But damn, if we would have played a little bit better yesterday we would have been there instead...

China will demolish them. We can wait and see.
It's only Iran who gets into trouble with Arabs, China doesn't pity these teams. They kick ass really hard. Their only problem in Asia is Iran which is now a non-issue for them. Their whole preparation in summer has been how to control Iran. Go read their forums and basketball blogs.

Asian Volleyball Champs in Tehran is a pre-qualification tournament for Olympics, top 4 teams + Japan will advance to the main qualification tournament in Japan. now We are in second round with a perfect record. next is Pakistan on Sunday and Japan on Monday.
in Handball Korea is really strong, it's not impossible but it is really hard to beat them. and we have to beat KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain first.

In the 5th place match, Iran destroyed Lebanon by 25 points again. As the commentator said, its such a shame that Iran placed 5th with a 9-1 record. The closest anyone has come to Iran was Korea within 17 points, and the most margin was 94 points against uzbekistan. We lost one lousy game to Jordan, when our boys had a bad day. I really hope China destroys them, just because they got too c0cky right after beating Iran.

FINAL:
China - Jordan 70-69 FT
Pretty exciting final, but this China team would never have won this tournament if it wasn't for the home court. China almost collapsed in the end, even though most calls went their way. But some bad decisions taken by Jordan in the last minute gave China the win. You gota feel sorry for Jordan, in my opinion they deserved it more.
The worst part is that Iran would had defeated this China team pretty easily.

Sad to say this is pretty true
Our NBA player messed up big time against Jordan.
Who else agrees that Arsalan was the best player on the team?

I think the most dissapointing performance was by Kamrani, he was under performing as a point guard, and always took rash decisions.
I also would place the blame on the coach, for not starting a superb kazemi and bahrami against Jordan. He thought we would easily rout through jordan with our subs which is why he didnt put bahrami in until the second half.
We have a great generation of players, haddadi and co should atleast last us another 5-7 years...while kazemi is only 20 and hes such a bright talent.
