Rezazadeh isnt a sell out...how could you even say that?! Sure he done a few ads for a real estate company but who gives a rats...compare him with Tiger Woods, Marion Jones, etc etc...

The other Ardabili guy you are talking about...the ginger guy, received a life ban from the IWF after failing 2 test in 2 years. He had the balls afterwards to tell the Iranian media that Rezazadeh ask him to take the roids in the first place.....absolutely rubbish!!

This is the mantality we have to get rid of immediately.
          Calling rezazadeh a sell out...!

He was offered more than a Million USD to lift weights for Turkey and he refused and said he only lifts for Iran and Iran only! (given the salary of a lifters in Iran is peanuts).
So thats not a sell out.

and if you refer to his here and there attendance to certain IR garbage conferences, well, well, well, than you have to start calling most of our sports man in Iran sell-outs. (I am referring to some of our footballers).
None of them are sell-outs... since sell-out means they sell their soul for money! Thats not what Rezazadeh did. when you have fame in Iran, the regime wants to advertise for itself by asking you attend that conference with folan IR offical bla bla.... if you say no, you are in real trouble!
Now, its easy for us outside Iran to sit and lay back and say: If I was Rezazadeh I would not have attended that ceremony and would publicy say: Fcuk you... ...
but for them in Iran with families, things are deifferent.

May be some of us are so called "real" heroes and would say fcuk you in Iran in front of TV, but that doesn't make Rezazadeh alikes a sell-out. Not for me.

How is Rezazadeh a sellout? I'm sick of tired of members like yourself who say such things just because they DON'T follow your ideology or political affiliation. Do you forget Turkey try to persuade him to represent their country for millions of dollars? I'm sure there would be many sellouts for the money. But he declined it. He didn't want the millions, he just wanted to PROUDLY represent IRAN zamin with her gheyrat and heart.

I couldn't have said it any better, amo jan!

Nobody has the right to claim someone as a sellout based on their political affiliations or ideology. The last time I checked, Rezazadeh lives in IRAN while Ektaban and myself live outside of it.

                  Shirehhhhhhhhhh!!

So I wasn't the only one who got tears in his eyes watching that live. I can say that it made me even happier than Jabbari's ET goal vs. Bahrain.
Persian Pride running through my veins!

                  Esteghlal for life!!

Who is Jabbari? Who is TM? I say 'bilahk' to them....these guys...along with our wrestlers and martial artists are the only true pahlavans of Iran.

p.s. EKBATAN has disappeared after calling Hossein a sell out....baba...I want an APOLOGY!! and I am sure other members will want one too.

baba im not referring to his commercial...lol....he clearly supports IR well at least he attended a ceremony at the height of the protests when people were getting killed. If you love people of iran, u wouldnt show up there, he coulda made an excuse like he's sick or something. I understand alot of our athletes get forced to do that but just for that particular sensitive time it woulda been nice if he made an excuse not to go.

I agree with you. The day Rezazadeh went out and supported Ahmadinejad after the recent election in Iran I lost my respect for him.

I just hope Behdad Salimi doesn't go the same way (or any other top athletic for that matter).

Your post is ridiculous! You lose respect for him because of his political affiliation? Just because several of my friends are hardcore Bush fans doesn't mean they are horrible people not worthy of my respect. That is utter garbage! Has Rezazadeh do anything to harm anyone? Last time I checked, he LIVES in Iran while you're sitting on your computer somewhere in Sweden.

                            Generally speaking:

                            Yes.

IMO, of course you would lose respect for someone who supports the destruction of YOUR country and the killings/rapings of YOUR people.

its the sensitive timing that he did it. I dont care if he did the regular IR ass kissing crap here and there but at that sensitive moment it was a huge blow for me. A represnetative of our strongest man, the symbol of our country, the carrier of our flag in the olympics...sitting at the foot of bunch of smelly monkeys approving their stolen election. yes i lose respect, im sorry i have morals and ethics.

And where we're YOU when the people needed help? So you speak on behalf of 70 million Iranians worldwide who view him as a traitor?! LOL Come on, whether we like to believe it or not, he is more Iranian than any of us because he breath Iranian air and is on the khak every day while we all just side in our own comfort outside of the homeland wishing we could be there.
