    nothing new I guess
Watched the match in a bar and it was fun to see R. Madrid fans being quiet after scoring that lucky goal at the beginning of the match lol.

Seriously I am not a fan, but come on! How many times does Barcelona need to win until people accept that they are simply better at the moment ? Really enjoy their football, their one touch football and there brilliant vision/passes.

I was so surprised to see mascherano sidelined for the aging puyol at the beginning of the match. mascherano has been absolutely magnificent in his new role as a central defender. He has saved the team on countless occasions.
But by God, Puyol put all doubts to rest with a magnificent performance. He was tireless and as clever and sharp as ever. His retirement will be a great loss to barca.

Sanchez is wiiilld. I like this chap. He's made a great first impression in his first season (half season actually) and I think he's a keeper.

I just loved how ronaldo was reduced to a mere bystander and an ineffectual player. and to think the travesty of putting him in the short list of the best player in the world along with the great xavi and messi ... and even more horrendous is overlooking the brilliant Iniesta? It just boggles the mind.

on moan-rinho: I think all the countless defeats at the hands of barca has finally put his ego (and ALMOST his mouth) to its place. we didnt see all his insane, foolish antics in the game. so maybe he's finally come to terms with the fact of being inferior to guardiola and barca's artists

Puyol was a beast - Exactly the type of player you need for these types of games.
Busquets was magnificent too, whilst iniesta ran the show in second half.
Messi and Xavi were very good as well, but could have been even better.
Alves ran his heart out - Played a decent game, his crossing was very good.
Abidal and Pique didn't contribute much, but were overall decent.
Sanchez did exactly what the boss wanted him to do - whilst cesc was lost in first half but managed to somewhat redeem himself in the second half.

        A good victory

Oh on mascherano - I was surprised too, but what a clever decision by Pep - Look at this:

At 00:56 watch and see puyol.
