I'm sure he could play in Europe somewhere. He could make good money there and have a comfortable life.

NO man, his visa is cleared he's heading to US and grizzlies NEED him desperately. With Arthur out all season, gasol is their only guy over 6'9''

they need a 7 footer back up for sure....even if marc doesnt get injured and hollins prefers small line up, they would still use hamed. He's gonna resign with them.

The grizzlies pulled back their offer for Haddadi- that only means that they cannot offer 2 million to Haddadi because of salary cap, but they can easily offer him somewhere between 1-1.2 million... and yes they do need size and a backup center, it was evident in their loss yesterday, they were giving up offensive rebounds like crazy.

they'd be crazy not to take him back for a million or whatever.....he has been making so much progress there and was actually starting to progress. whatever, if memphis doesnt want him im sure some other teams would be interested in him, hes not ready to give up on his nba career yet

Dec 27 C Hamed Haddadi, a 7-footer who hails from Iran, had his $2 million qualifying offer withdrawn by the Grizzlies. Haddadi, 26, is now an unrestricted free agent, and can sign with any NBA team without the Grizzlies having a right to match offers. In three seasons with the Grizzlies, Haddadi appeared in 86 games during that time, averaging 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds.
You are bound to land somewhere when you are a 7+ footer in the NBA, just look at Kwame

By a chance I visited Haddadi's twitter page (again), and this was tweeted a couple of minutes ago:

Griz waive journeyman Skinner; is Haddadi returning? - The Memphis Edge http://fb.me/1AI8tQJiq
I doubt it was Hamed himself who tweeted this, but it's an interesting article.

                  http://blogs.commercialappeal.com/th...returning.html

So there might be some hope left for Hamed playing in NBA this season afterall.

And with NBA League Pass being free until the 9th of January, he better hurry up...

the lakers need a backup center. They have no 7 footers on the bench. He could give them 6 fouls to use.

^ Lakers will have no use for him once Bynum returns. They will have McRoberts and Murphy coming off the bench.

he was at the game today, not dressed but sitting with management and next to the team. its safe to say he's resigning with the team.

The visa delay was a gift to Memphis since by waiving they can just sign with MLE.
