i thought it was unfair that napoli - chelsea tie breaker had to be played in chelsea's home. They should have penalties if both teams tie...cuz its not fair to the team that hosted first to have to play 30 min. of extra time away.

thats the advantage of playing the return leg at home which inturn is an advantage for finishing first in ur group

yup... didnt u notice all group leaders player the return leg at home? its only for the round of 16.. from now, again its all based on draw..

I desagree, a goal of napoli in extra time in chelsea home counts more that in napoli one. So the extra time is more dangerous for the home side.

the away goal rule cancls out that fact that you get 30 more minutes away because a goal in that 30 minutes is worth more than a home goal in that 30 minutes

Its a shame Napoli went out. My heart goes out to the team and their fans. I mean imagine what the atmosphere at the san paolo would have been in a potential QF match . In the first half the napoli fans were making more noise and were so much better then their english counterparts

udinese also got knocked out of europa league, while germany has hannover and schalke and spain has valencia, athletic bilbao and athletic madrid.

well ya ive been saying that for the longest...italian teams dont care about EL so they usually play their B teams, they rather focus on the league.
