LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
You obviously are a Chelsea fan. A team that spend big bucks on players for the short time. What Wenger has done to Arsenal is amazing and everyone knows that.
Fabregas was not a reject, we just picked him up b4 he signed a professional contract. Very very smart move by Wenger. He "owned" Vieira and Emerson wen they played Juve but i guess that was just luck, he gets selected for the Spain squad but i guess the Spain coach has no clue
We have Toure, voted one of the greatest buys ever in EPL history, but what do the pros know??? Nothing......pimpofpersian knows it all.
We have Gilberto..A World Cup winner, and a sure starter for Brazil this time around as well. But, hey....Whos Brazil.
Ohh yeah Pires....Hmmmmmmmm..What a minute. A world cup winner. Yeah he was never good. LOL
Its funny wen u mention Adebayor, because u know if u mentioned Reyes or Van Persi you would be kidding yourself.
So wen is Cole leaving bro, u must have the inside news, can i have your source plz.. Will really appreciate it.
And by the way "pimpofpersian" League Champions '98, '02 and '04. FA CUP winners '98, '02, '03, '05. Champions League Finalist this year. YEah thats ok.
SO WHO DO YOU GO FOR pimpofpersian??? 20 DAYS 1 HOUR AND 38 MINUTES TO GOOOOOO

Nothing against your post but please dont say something that is NOWHERE near true...I will be surprised if Gilberto gets a total of 90 minutes playing time in ALL of their world cup games. Starter? :bs:
I see this situation as very similar to when Viera rejected Real and stayed a couple of years ago and became more of a big name than a big player.
People might laugh, but I honestly think Arsenal would have been better off selling Henry and get some big money for him....just like they might have been better off getting rid of Vieira earlier. In recent times Henry seems to have believed his own hype and a lot of the time I watch him he doesn`t even bother either making runs for his own team mates or closing down the opposition when they have the ball. This is particularly frustrating when Arsenal are playing 5 in midfield, and Henry is the only player forward when a midfielder has broken forward with the ball and Henry just trots forward without providing him the option of a pass.
Of course he is a hugely talented player but sometimes you wonder if he remains on the pitch just because of who he is. The second Villareal game was a prime example - he did nothing, was awful and yet still was never going to get subbed. He also has a habit of missing very crucial chances in huge matches - the two he missed on Wednesday ultimately cost his side a champions league title.
Finally, Arsenal need to build a team that is not so reliant on Henry - bringing Walcott in, giving young, talented players like Fabregas, Eboue and Kolo Toure more responsibility and buying some quality players like Fernando Torres (they also badly need some defensive cover) might just be the way forward. The only way I see Henry in helping building the 3rd great Arsenal side under Wenger is by his name helping attract quality players...either that or he starts trying a bit harder.

I agree with a lot of what you say but i also need to defend Henry a bit. This 5 midfield formation has only come about in the last 6 months or so
That puts a lot of pressure on Henry, seeing as he already runs a lot, imagine being the lone striker.
I feel Arsenal do need a another big name striker, i have always liked Cisse or Torres as the choices. Although Van Persie and Reyes are awesome, i like them better as left wingers.
BY THE WAY "******EH PARS" WHAT TEAM DO U GO FOR???? I still havent seen your answer.
Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein claims the club turned down two world-record bids of for Thierry Henry.
Henry finally ended months of speculation over his future on Friday by signing a new four-year deal with The Gunners.
The Frenchman was strongly linked with a move away from Arsenal in the summer with Barcelona waiting in the wings to sign him.
It is believed that Barcelona and Real Madrid both lodged bids for Henry, with Dein confirming that both offers for Henry came from Spain before he signed his new deal.
"We turned down world-record deals for Thierry from two Spanish clubs - and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to work who they were," Dein told the Sunday Express.
"The two clubs in question don't like to be outbid by each other. They were ready to go for it.
"Our message was clear. He wasn't for sale and I like to think Thierry heard that."
Dein also revealed that Henry's decision to stay in North London was nothing to do with money and that the player only had to be convinced of Arsenal's ambition before pledging his future to the club.
"We made an offer in January, prodded Thierry now and then, but never put pressure on him," added Dein.
"Money wasn't really mentioned. He wanted to know where we were going, but in reality I think he knew.
"I believe he also knew that if he went to a club like Barcelona or Real Madrid, he would just be a prince. Here he knows he is a king."
What a man ??
are u joking or what ?
This guy is so pretencious, he only knows to show that he's rich in France.
Furthermore, he doesnt score well with France national team.

yeah, fair point...it is a hard job he is being asked to fulfill and he does have to run a lot, but a lot of the time I see lesser strikers in the same role making a lot more effort for much more of the game than Henry does. Sure, his game might be based on speed and remaining fresh for the breaks, but surely when his team does break with the ball it is his responsibility to make a run and not just remain static and wait for a pass.
I just think that 50 million is an awful lot of money for the schizophrenic player that Ive seen in some of the last few months and considering Wengers track record of finding and developing exceptional young players then this money would have gone an awful long way.
