The Japanese players are now breaking into the Premiership- Kagawa and probably soon Honda. Just looking at Kagawa's achievement, and comparing it to our own Karimi's, there is a big difference. Kagawa became an integral part of his team and help achieved so much success whereas Karimi found it hard to getting playing time after expecting to fill in Ballack's void.

I really wish Kia took the opportunity to go to England when he could have.

Kagawa is a beast im not surprised to be honest. Japanese players just have the technical ability to perform in higher leagues, its completely evident if you just watch their national team play. Iran has players who go to Europe, THEN gain technical ability. Its with no doubt which nations gonna have the more positive trend

Yeah. besides Kagawa, Japan has good players such as Honda (CSKA), Nagatomo (Inter), Miyaichi (Arsenal), Uchida (Schalke) etc nowadays. But Iran is better than Korea right now judging by WCQ performance and Euro-based players.

I agree here, seriously Park got at least 2-3 years left at top lvl, then he can drop down to some mid table team in Europe or move back to korea and play for their best team trying to win the ACL
