what iroonis dont realize is the logistics of joining team melli is not as easy as they think. For those inside iran its easy cuz they are there...for others who went to europe after being in team melli like neku, shojaei and others is a different situation. But for someone who has not been in iran and raised in europe, playing there professionally, etc....its very hard. Not only you have to deal with legal issue, paperwork but you have to meet and greet with the coach, team melli staff or others. If the federation doesnt approach him, then he has to make the effort. Now you guys try and go contact a federation or big company and see how much success you have. Its not as easy as picking up a phone and dialing an 800 number saying hi i wanna join team melli :-/

Being a full time player, you dont have time to pursue that stuff...ESPECIALLY with the unprofessional crappy way IFF deals with stuff.
Now lets say they did get in touch with federation and want to come...well there are NOT that many FIFA international dates in the yearly calendar for them to have time to join. They usually fall on a weekday between 2 weekends of regular season. Then there is summer time which there arent many international games going on. So the people who think its just easy as getting a plane ticket to visit grandma in iran, its not that easy. grow up

All due respect, Guidetti is not one of the most dangerous strikers in Europe this season. The guy is impressive indeed, but there are far better players than him already. Not to mention the fact that he scored a lot of his goals on penalties. I like the guy though, and I'm disappointed that he didn't make the squad. Still, if he would have been called up he would have never been considered to be a starter for Sweden.

I meant Swedish strikers* my bad I dont see anyone else being as good as him. Well Elmander is in good shape but its still Elmander. Guidetti seems to have more of a killier instinct next to the goal like Inzaghi.
