Probably the most boring and low quality match of the quarters so far, I don't think England Italy is gonna be this bad. If Spain plays like this against Germany, they will be on the receiving end of the ass whoopn of the century.

Notice how the Ukrainians in the crowd were all whistling when Spain came into possession of the ball? It just shows that the majority of neutral viewers couldn't care less for Spain's passing game. I hope Portugal beat Spain so the Final will actually be an exciting match.

I actually used to like watching Spain, I have no idea what's happened to their team but their matches are starting to put me to sleep. It seems they were more exciting a few years back when they first came out with this style or maybe it's just that I've gotten bored of it, also it could be because they are playing without a striker. Whatever the reason is, I can't stand them any more and I can only wish the worst for them .

I really hope Portugal kick their asses out the tournament with Ronaldo scoring a few goals but I can see Spain grinding a win out like today.

dont blame spain, it was france's bee gheyrat game...wow even dutch had more gheyrat lol.....spain simply didnt try hard enough cuz france was easy to handle. But yea i dont like how spain is playing anymore, they need some strikers like villa and pedro needs to play more, this 4-6-0 line up with no true striker is boring, they dont have a real target man....

Overall, Spain team which is a mixture of players of Barcelona and Madrid showed that without Ronaldo, or Messi, Spanish league must be boring too.

Question, about something else.. How come I like Balotelli alot an dislike Ibra. Both are arrogant but balo seems more harmless. Also ibra seems to hate alot whearas balo seems to be frustrated alot. Or what is it?

Today's quaterfinal was grossly unfair. France were playing with 10 men for 64 minutes, before Malouda was finally taken off.

What do football managers see in Malouda? feckless, lazy and ineffective. His failure to track Alonso's run from midfield gifted the Spanish their first goal.

I really enjoyed watching Spain's passing, France with all their quality couldn't create any decent chacnes at goal, their only shot on goal was from a freekick.
Spain have become the new Italy but instead of defending a 1-0 lead with 10 men behind the ball, they defend by passing the ball. Some may think it makes the game boring but its a great tactic and Spain have every right to use that to their advantage.
Unfortunately for Germany, they will again lose to Spain if they meet in the final. Spain have too much quality, not even Germany can stop them from having the ball.
La roja's most difficult game will come next game against portugal, one of the best counter attacking teams with Ronaldo, if he is in form, Spain's defense have to be at their best.

Im going to watch the Portugal vs. Spain derby with a bunch of Portuguese students. Its going to be exciting because of the hatred between the two sides.

That's exactly how I feel, Germany are a team that's used to dominating the game and building their chances through slick passing but they are going against the masters of dominating possession and I can just see them getting frustrated again after Spain dominate them. If Spain beat Portugal I think they will win it all unless they face Italy in the final. I can see Italy and Portugal giving Spain the most problems.

Hopefully this was the last time this Algerian player represents France and in the future he will be replaced with a French player.
