Well in your case if we assume that you definitely can't play for TM the alternative is not to play for any national team at all. You don't HAVE to play for a country's national team, especially if it's not your own country.

So going off the logic in this thread, and trying to conserve the 'specific' bloodlines of these countries, Teymourian should be playing for Armenia right?

I would have to have some information on his parents and grand parents to make that call.

i understand your point when it comes to players in qatar (or wherever) who become a citizen and a couple years later play for their NT. (pepe for portugal for instance)
but if someone whose parents for example were from sweden and they were born in the usa, i wouldn't say there is less integrity by having that person play either for sweden or the united states.

Well we have different opinions about this since in my opinion you shouldn't represent a country if your bloodline traces to a different country.

as for ozil, his grand parents immigrated from turkey, so his parents and himself were born and raised in germany much like americans
Good point using usa as an example of a country which has only existed less than 250 years despite the current native white Americans all having bloodlines predating that and probably going back milllions of years. Surely Landon Donovan has no 'American blood' since if you go back he will probably have dutch or german or some european bloodline as would every single white american.

It's ridiculous for example for someone who is dark skinned and speaks with a thick Indian accent to represent the US national team when he is clearly from India.
What if that dark indian had kids and they had kids and they had kids but were still dark and were raised in America. How are they any less American than the current Americans who are just the offspring of previous immigrant like the Indian.

KC if you saw a picture of me and a range of other iranians and a picture of yourself, you will see that the modern day Iranians do not all have the same blood line. What makes mixing your blood with different races such as Armenian and Azeri blood which happen to have the same nationality okay but not another similar race such as Turkish etc?

                Teymourian is Armenian
                Aghili is half cypriot
                Hossein Kaebi was Arab
                Mehrab Shahrokhi was black
                Khodad azizi had hazara roots
and there was this blonde hair player in the 70's but i dont remember his name

On the basis that you made you should be sick of the Iranian national team too

KC shouldn't complain on this matter anyway. He looks like an american or wester european. I still think he's no Iranian. Looool

No seriously, if KC was a football player and played for Iran every foreigner would think he's originally non-iranian.

IF the players of Martinique (France) are not French, then what is their status? I just don't get it. Martinique, New Caledonia (in Oceania), or Guadeloupe make part of France. Should they be just considered as second category of population and not to play football at all?

I think KC doesn't take into consideration the European history for opening such thread.

Just the fact that they keep marrying within their own nationality (Indian) shows they don't consider themselves American. But like I said American is different as the whole country is immigrants and has no extensive history.
Also I'm not referring to race, but rather nationality. Like someone in this thread pointed out, Iran consists of different races, but they are all Iranian. Once the country and hence the nationality of Iran (and other countries) was established, that's what you are regardless of where you move.

But these countries all have their own national teams, no? I know for a fact that Martinique and Guadelope do as they have played in the Gold Cup which is for national teams of CONCACAF.
At some point in Europe countries and borders were established. Whatever and from wherever your ancestor was at that time, that's what you are.

I believe our roots come from africa! Jesus was black !

The Words "Root,Race" is something created by racist cvnts, to make people think that they are different from each other! I believe you should be able to live and present any country in this world even if you were not born in that country! This world belongs to everyone!

I wish there was only one country in the world and everyone spoke the same language! imagine that!

I've made no mistake. All the players I named have no business representing the national teams that they do.

Baoteng based on the quality of their game. In 1990 these player positions would have been filled with Luthar Matthaus and Stefan Reuter. There are in fact teams out there who are still very homogeneous... I can think of Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Spain, Ireland, and even Italy for the most part.
not to mention, khedira, gomez, boateng are all half german by blood, the only real foreigner on germany's starting 11 is ozil and prodolski
