At some point in Europe countries and borders were established. Whatever and from wherever your ancestor was at that time, that's what you are.
Part of the black players in the French national team have been from DOM TOM (overseas territory of France). These islands make part of France; they are not independent. Adrian Karemebeu who played in WC 1998 was from New Caledonia, Malouda and Clichy are from Martinique. I think Henry is from Desirade Island ...

    Martinique (according to Wikipedia)

The inhabitants of Martinique are French citizens with full political and legal rights. Martinique sends four deputies to the French National Assembly and two senators to the French Senate.
    New Caledonia:
New Caledonia (French: [5]) is a special collectivity of France located in the southwest Pacific Ocean, 1,500 kilometres (930 mi) east ofAustralia and about 20,000 kilometres (12,000 mi) from Metropolitan France.
    Guadeloupe:

Although I was born in the US and grew up here, I consider myself fully iranian. Now, as for KC being "made-sick" by the multi-ethnic teams. Kc you need to do a reality check.
A large portion of ANY national team are foreign. Even a country like iran with low immigration rate has had players from all around. It's the football enviornment and infrastructure that is ultimately being represented.

But don't these countries have their own national teams? I'll take your word for what you say above but that would only mean that as these countries have their own national teams as well, players born there should have a choice of playing for France or the country of their birth. What I am saying is even with that choice, the correct option would be to choose the country of their birth.
These particular countries above aside, there are so many other examples as well at EURO 2012 that will maintain the level of my nauseousness due to the origins of their players.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

This is something new. Check the lineups of France, Germany or Italy during the 70s or 80s.

France in 70s/80s was also composed of sons of Polish, italian, potuguese, spaniard... immigrants.

                      Agha bekhoda they do.

For Martinique I was actually at the stadium when they played in the Gold Cup in 2003. Guadelope played in the 2007 Gold Cup (and I think also 2009) and even reached the semifinals, losing to Mexico. While I've never seen New Caledonia in action, however, they are participating in the 2014 Wold Cup qualifiers in Oceania (2 wins, 1 loss so far) and finished 2nd in the 2012 Oceania Championship.

I think these "national" teams are not really recognized by Fifa, a sort of joke like the national team of catalunya or galicia.

what's the interest to play in the regional competition and not to play for the French national team in the WC or other important competition!
                          from wikipedia:
As an overseas department of the French Republic, Guadeloupe is not a member of FIFA and is therefore not eligible to enter the FIFA World Cup or any competition organized first-hand by the organization. Guadeloupeans, being French citizens, are eligible to play for the France national football team. Guadeloupe is, however, a member of CONCACAF and the CFU and is eligible for all competitions organized by both organizations. Indeed, according to the status of the FFF (article 34, paragraph 6): "[...]Under the control of related continental confederations, and with the agreement of the FFF, those leagues can organize international sport events at a regional level or set up teams in order to participate to them." A special rule of the CONCACAF Gold Cup only allows players to join the team if they have not played for France during the past five years. On the other side, any player joining Guadeloupe is allowed to join the France national team after-wards without any time restrictions.

If New Caledonia is playing in World Cup qualifiers, then they must be recognized by FIFA.
Anyway these are exceptional cases and are very different than a Ghanian pretending to be Italian.

KC must be loving Greece right now - a 'pure-blooded' team in the Quarter-Finals.
