he helped juve go UNDEFEATED in serie A this season...going undefeated in such a tactical league is an extra ordinary thing...and he didnt have an all star cast around him

now he's doing the same for the national team that no one thought would even go past quarters at best....also u forgot he did win CL in "those years" should've really been 2 if that liverpool fluke didnt happen (oh yea courtesy of the ref for an offside goal, a non penalty and shevchenko choaking 3 times lol)

Pirlo didn't win awards because the italian league doesn't have the amount of viewers that La liga has. Keep in mind that Serie A is 3x more competative than la liga which consists of 2 or 3 SUPER strong teams and the rest just serve as punching bags, allowing the ridiculous amount of goals and awards.
Put Messi in serie A. He won't even score HALF of what he scores now.

Pirlo is a world class player no doubt, but please guys never ever he is better than xavi or iniesta, even Ronaldinho and Messi always saying the best player is Iniesta. What I meant is that he has accomplised a lot and people just don't give him enough credit. Xavi is very overrated. Iniesta is a different type of midfielder. Personally i'd rank them in this order: Iniesta, Pirlo, Xavi. But As I already mentioned, they are not even CLOSE to being the same type of player, it's like comparing Shojaei to Teymourian. It's just a stupid comparison.

baba jaan it depends on what happend those years with other players. They give it to those who have won the most and made the most significance. In 2006 cannavaro won the player of the year cuz of italy and juventus...doest mean pirlo was bad its just that cannavaro's accomplishments were more
