Japan was all over Spain. I was baffled by how miserable this Spain Olympics team was and ow horrendous the Japanese were in their finishing touches, I mean they should have easily won this game by a score line of 5-0

Spain back line was dreadful. Japan played extremely well. I'm very impressed with how they played.

Let's not sell UAE short either. They played a good game, I think. I was impressed by their play, even though they didn't get the 3 points.

If Iran had qualified, I'm sure you wouldn't say such a thing.

japan no.11 is the biggest troublemaker in the olympics I need to speak out on this injustice.

Of course i would care and be happy..i also support and care for our futsal or volleyball team. it has all to do with my love for Iran.
But objectively I know it's less a big deal than the real thing (world cup)

Brasil obviously needs to bring their A-team, they have no qualification matches to prepare for World Cup 2014. So they need to take advantage of this and other (friendly) matches.

On the other hand, what the hell is UAE doing at Olympic soccer? Did they had a good qualification stage? Or do they have all their players imported from Africa? Man, Iran should have beaten Iraq in Tehran. It was a mistake to send U-23 team, I think Olympic games are important too. Players can gain expierence and it's a good preparation. I'm sure we wouldn't lose 2-0 if we had Karimi, Teymourian and Nekounam starting. Or at least, one of them..

I hope more Asian teams perform well against the strong teams. I'm sure that more tournament seeding space would be granted to Asia then.

I went to play football at the park today and the Mexicans were all up on UAE. "Oh they play good soccer, that team that was playing Uruguay," they were saying. And I was like.... sheeeeet that's not the UAE I know...

Anyways I'm looking for Japan and South Korea to get to the elimination round and hopefully past that
