              Iran needs to win several medals, at least as good as Australia 2000, otherwise it will be another international embarassment. With the large population Iran has, there is no excuse to continue to be so lazy and incompetent in sports training and spending.

                    oh ok i looked him up but he doesnt look too impressive?..there was another guy named Taftian Hassan hes a junior i think and he can run around 10.4s in the 100m but idk if hes competing

                      *پس از اين پيروزي خبرنگاران ايراني، زارع*پور رئيس فدراسيون پينگ پنگ و رمضان*پور، مسئول حراست وزارت ورزش و جوانان او را تشويق کردند و تبريک گفتند.
                      * زارع*پور که پيش از اين قول داده بود، براي هر پيروزي به نمايندگان ايران پاداش خواهد داد، امشب بلافاصله پس از برد عالميان به وي پاداش نقدي اهدا کرد که گفته مي*شود اين مبلغ حدود 500 دلار بوده است.
                      نوشاد عالميان با اين برد به مرحله دوم صعود کرد و ساعت 18 برابر تانگ پنگ از هنگ کنگ، رنکينگ 31 جهان قرار خواهد گرفت.

                              Nader jaan, I merged your existing thread with the other "Time and date schedule Iranian athletes!" thread by KiarashM because they were besically the same. I wasn't intending to merge all the daily threads as I also think that it's better to have a daily thread about each day's events, to keep better track of our athletes. The merge was just for the one KiarashM opened, since people were giving live updates simultaniously in both threads, which was unnecessary imo.

                                Our women's rower also qualified to the quarter finals.... it was a great race and respect to her for her great effort, last 250m she overtook the other 2 in style
