Iran's super heavyweight judoka Mohammad-Reza Rudaki is doubtful for the London 2012 Olympic Games due to a knee injury.

Rudaki has recently suffered an injury in Judo Grand Prix in Russia. He will undergo surgery on Saturday.

Iran’s judo officials have said they are hoping the Iran captain could take part in the prestigious event.

Iran's super heavyweight weightlifter Behdad Salimi also suffers a knee injury but the officials are hopeful he can return to training soon.

No idea where you get your stats from but this is the most talented pool of wrestlers Iran has produced in a very long time. So much so that commentators both in Iran and abroad are calling it arguably Irans best ever. Moreover, the lifting...well you just never heard of Behdad Salimi then have you oghlan?

In other news, the Iranian boxer fighting tonight is 4 to 1 to beat his rival which is 1.5! Hope he proves them wrong.
