My point was a general one, something we see more and more often in the forums! You know yourself better than anyone else here, and if you feel addressed by my post, then I guess it indeed does concern you, otherwise you wouldn't rush in to defend yourself when no-one had mentioned your name!

Secondly, if someone opens a congratulation thread for our athletes, and someone else comes here and in their first post starts whining about the origin of the words being used, Arab this or that and that certain words should not be used because they are Arabic, and by that initiating a discussion about something totally different than the topic subject (see, after your post, 15-20 of the following posts in the next 2-3 pages were about "Mashallah" and which words to be used and what not), then yes that is changing the topic subject and differentiating it to a ddiscussion about something else! It does not matter that after your off-topic comment you dedicated a few other words to congratulate our athletes, as I mentioned above, your post initiated a whole other discussion in the following pages!

Thirdly, I had never paid attention to your age until now that you mentioned it, but if you consider yourself as a "kid" at the age of 17 that you feel attacked by my comment, then that is really your problem. Again, I wasn't targetting you, I was addressing a bigger problem we see on the forums, which is that some kids who have only seen a few youtube footages and read some BS on the internet, come here and talk smack to 30-40 year old members, trying to tell them who is a "true Iranian" and who is not and tell them what to do and what not to do!

So again, as a bottom line, chill down! Don't worry, if I wanna address you, I make sure to quote you or to mention your name! Taarof nadaram ba kasi Actually, the first paragraph was a little bit targetted to you mainly, but not specifically, since it was you who said that "Mashallah is not acceptable", but the 2nd paragraph was a general concern! If my post was only targetted to you, I would have mentioned your name or quoted you!
I agree, except for the part of you "not addressing me". :bs: probably due to the fact that half the older members have previously attacked me for my age. But you could be telling the truth.

But whatever, velesh kon, I understand your point.

Younger members can feel it that way sometimes when it happens often in some conversations that the counter part uses "you're just a kid" as an arguement.

Am I the only one who thinks that our logo looks pretty good? Especially compared to the one we have in football.

I find it sad how some people who always promote Iranian culture and values yet racism is engraved in their veins. Those are the very same people who are bitter and upset that they no longer have a position or say in Iran anymore.

so because we promote our own culture over others we are racist? Sorry for trying to preserve a culture I see as better for our people. I have no problems with arabs, israelis or anyone for that matter, more than half of my friends are arabs!
Don't throw around the word racist so easily my friend, it's a strong word and you better have some grain of evidence before using such a word.

Why are you so defensive? Did I hit a nerve with you? This thread alone is the evidence I need to back my argument. Stop acting like you're doing us a favor by preserving our culture. Our ancestors already did that.
