      Yeah.

      But the score was 6-4.

Then, Iran's coach protested and it ended 6-5.

      And, still we lost.

No, it didn't aziz. The Turk was warned previous which Bagheri trailed 6-5. The Turk left the mat which is why the Iranian coach challenged. It should have been a clear penalty!!

Some people should stop blaming the referee. The Turkish guy won and he deserved it, he was much better. Learn how to accept losses.

However, I am proud of our achievement! Silver is good.

it looked like the tork completely left the mat once time had finished which is why they didn't give a penalty

Such a close match... Heartbreaking to lose, especially to Turkey as I will be taunted by many Turks now lol. Still well done to Bagheri and congrats on your silver medal.

I wish there were 6 weight classes instead of 4. All 3 of our World Champions are in succeeding weight classes, meaning that we can only send one of them (unless one of the others loses or gains a lot of weight.

Well, just remind them that this is their only Gold medal whereas Iran has won 4. :P

Ahhhh close match... Bagheri always managed to score first but Tazegul always came right back and scored with a counter attack.... I think it was the 2nd round where Bagheri scored and the Turk scored 3 points straight after with some nice quick kicks... It's always close when these two fight, usually the Turk destroys people with very high scores.

I have to admit, I have no idea about Taekwando.
The last match I'd seen, prior to this one, was by Hadi Saei in which he won Olympic gold against an italian opponent.
