        Don't you see the difference the way they lift them?
        On snatch they lift it all the way directly, on C&J they hold it above their chest and then press it up.

            In Farsi we say "YEK ZARB" (snatch) and "DO ZARB" (Clean&Jerk).

            YEK ZARB = 1 movement.. they lift the weight right from the floor above their heads and then stand up = 1 movement, hence "1 ZARB".

            DO ZARB = Clean and Jerk = they "Clean" the lift from floor while standing up first, and then "Jerk" it above their heads = 2 movements, hence "2 ZARB".

              Salimi is 23 now but the retirement age for some of these heavy lifters comes early. I hope he can be there for 2020 (age 31).

                that's impressive. there's a video of behdad doing 360kg back squat.. !
