Karami is probably our second most decorated Taekwondoka after Saei so it's really disappointing to see him perform like this. There are times in sports where you can say that the opponent beat you fair and square but Karami's biggest barrier was himself. Out of the 6 sets he fought, he was only active in 1 while his first match was probably the worst I've seen him in 8 years.

What's more disappointing is that Iran came first in the 2011 TKD World Championship (Men's category). This was the first time another nation had dethroned S. Korea to collect the most Gold medals.

Very true amoo jaan, it's not over yet, but what I mainly tried to say was that our Grecko-Roman used to suck in all levels, however now we win the Olympics which is an amazing accomplishment.

disappointing for Karami but he must move forward, matches dont always go your way. Muhammad in my opinion had more stamina. He was also humble..unlike some American wrestler lol jk
anyways congrats to Sadegh Gourdarzi for winning silver!!!

I've learnt it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts

The Swedish Commentator mentioned about Karami was weak because he's fasting.

I wonder if this is really the case.

Probably. Im sure he will get plenty of Gold medals from God in heaven then If true, its an utter joke this fasting situation for ALL religions. Common sense vs Religion hmmm lets see who wins. NOT IRAN THATS FOR SURE!
