Oh man, this was our unluckiest day for sure. Really felt so bad for poor Yazdani. Good sportsmanship by the Ukrainian wrestler, he didn't even wanna celebrate and all he was thinking was to console Yazdani and make sure he was ok

Yazdani taken off on a wheelchair, with his head in his knees, crying his heart out.
      What a devastating image...

I don't have any problem. I may say, however, that you have a problem. Your baseless generalization is disgraceful.

Yazdani, you are a hero. You were in pain from the beginning, you went as long as you could, you have a lion heart and you showed what it is to be Iranian. I hope for a pain free recovery for you. You have made us proud brother.

How unlucky for Yazdani, heartbreaking loss. If only this was the final and the poor guy could've at least gotten a silver. That sucks bichareh

vaghean eyvala, Yazdani decided to get back to the game though he was in tremendous pain in left knee area. I've had a knee injury before and I tell ya it's impossible to do anything if it hurts. I hear the fans saying "yazdani motshakerim" yeah he really deserves it.
But I wish he didn't decide to get back to the ring after the first collapse because that'd worsen his injury.

                              12 medals..considering we got 2 in 2008,6 in 2004, and 4 in 2000..

                              What's wrong with you?

What a heartbreaking scene!!!!! I got so emotional seeing him try and fight through the pain and fight on, and felt so much pride to see a man with that much gheryat represent us on the world stage. Even the BBC commentators were crestfallen at Yazdani's injury, as they knew that he was clearly the best wrestler left. The damn ukrainian coach acted disgracefully as well (unlike the ukrainian wrestler who actually seemed to feel bad for yazdani and checked up on him at the end), he was jumping around like a little kid around yazdani while he was on the ground injured and didn't even have the decency to even pretend to care that the opponent was badly injured. In fact the ref came over and told him to take his celebrations elsewhere. The cowardly coach probably was creaming himself knowing that his wrestler had just lucked out big time.

But the fact remains that Yazdani is undoubtedly one of the toughest SOB's I have ever seen, and his spirit, courage and resolve to fight as long as he did through pain, made me proud to be Iranian. He is tough as nails and I pray that he gets another chance in 4 years. He went through a murder's row of opponents before the semis and now a much less deserving wrestler will win the gold medal.
